Falalalala La la la la

So here I am up north for my performance...on Christmas day... I know right? Christmas day, far far away in some *forsaken land*.

Anyhoo, we arrived on time. Dropped our bags and headed straight down to the hotel lobby for a quick bite and sound check. After all the testing 1, 2, 3, freshened up and it's dinner time. The food served was surprisingly good!

So dinner is done, now time for some nerve wrecking performance. Don't judge me you northern people. I don't know what kinda music suits your taste buds but I'm gonna stick to my jazzy tunes. And.... yea sure they didn't judge me, but they all gave me blank stares. The look on their faces were like "is that gal...from the 60's?" I mean come on, it's Christmas! Christmas and jazz are one, you know? No? Ok. So there I was, singing things like 'Rocking around the Christmas Tree' and 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer' rock-style. There goes my Christmas-and-Jazz-are-one motto.

We had drinks (mamak ok) after this little 'rock chic' ie: me was done performing and off to bed we go. Thanks Relin for sitting thru my oh-so-entertaining performance!

Next morning, was supposed to rush to a Christmas Carnival organised by my church from up north but halfway thru, the tiredness kicked in. Knocked off immediately after getting home. December has been mad for me, MAD I say.

New Years is just around the corner, have a superb celebration and an awesome 2012 ahead!
